What is CrewLAN?
CrewLAN is a local communication platform for event crews and productions. A CrewLAN workspace is ready within seconds: one participant starts it in the local network, and everyone else joins directly through the browser. This keeps chat, statuses, notes, tables, and important information available to the whole team, even when there is no internet connection on site.
How does it work?
CrewLAN is built to make setup as simple as possible:
- Start CrewLAN Host on one single computer in your local network
- Create a workspace
- Start the workspace
- Share the workspace IP address and port with other participants
As soon as the workspace is running, everyone on the local network can access it in their browser.
